We are looking for a Full-time Cook at our Spring Hill Recovery Center Location in Ashby, Massachusetts. Job Summary: The Prep Cook position works alongside the Kitchen Manager, prepping meals, providing excellent customer service, and preparing and serving high quality meals and snacks for patients. Spring Hill is willing to train the right person for the position. Pay: $20.00/hour Essential Responsibilities Prepare the food with concern for quality, appeal, presentation, cleanliness, and safety. Serve a variety of food in a high-volume setting. Regularly check all food items to ensure proper dates are written. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Keep all workstations & equipment clean at all times and follow a cleaning schedule for kitchen, dining room, and storage areas. Record keeping of meals served and food items needed. Use the proper methods and techniques for receiving, dating, and storage of quantities of food and associated supplies from vendors. Perform dishwashing & cleaning procedures at end of meals & shifts. Follow Patient diet restrictions and allergies. Education: High School Diploma or GED Required Culinary Degree Preferred Our mission.
