As the Head of Trust & Fiduciary Services ("TFS") United States; which forms part of Global Private Banking (GPB). Based in USA, the role reports functionally to the Global Head of TFS. The job holder must operate within the bounds of the fiduciary nature of Trust Services: this is a key consideration as to how the Business engages with, and leverages, where applicable, the capabilities of the HSBC Group. As our US Head of Trust and Fiduciary Servicesyou will: Ensure sustainable growth and relevance to the HSBC Group in a complex and specialist area, balancing business needs, cost and resources in support of the strategic direction of TFS, GPB, WPB and HSBC Develop and implement TFS strategies in support of HSBC's wider business priorities and objectives including driving intra-group collaboration, where appropriate, leading to successful referrals from other areas of HSBC Work with Wealth Planning & Advisory to ensure client propositions are continually updated and communicated across the global platform to meet changing market and legal/regulatory conditions Achieve financial targets whilst always maintaining conduct and suitability standards Ensure trust administration is always conducted in accordance with all legal, regulatory and HSBC Group policies and requirements, fostering a strong risk and compliance culture Demonstrate strong HSBC values and upholding and promoting the image of the business Oversee the annual tax compliance and reporting for all relevant US trusts For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $253,700.00 and $380,500.00 The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location. Qualifications You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role: Candidate should have 10 years relevant experience with Succession Planning and Trust and Estate administration Team player with experience in leading and motivating teams across different locations Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) or similar membership would be an advantage Experience with both US Grantor and Foreign Grantor Trust planning Legal qualification would also be advantage In compliance with applicable laws, HSBC is committed to employing only those who are authorized to work in the U.S. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. as HSBC will not engage in immigration sponsorship for this position.
