Job Description A diverse multi-disciplinary firm is urgently looking for an ITS/Traffic Engineer who is able to work independently on managing and developing projects throughout PA and surrounding states. This company has been in business for over 10 years! Company Details: Leading provider of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Traffic Engineering, and Transportation Planning and Engineering consulting services in the Mid-Atlantic region. Their staff is experienced in all project aspects from the early planning stages to the project completion, including PS&E development and construction design services for both design-bid-build and design-build projects. They have planning, design, review, and construction inspection experience in large scale ITS and Traffic Signal deployments. Key clients include PennDOT, PA Turnpike, City of Philadelphia Streets Dept, DelDOT, NYSDOT, and several local and national engineering firms. Job Description: Seeking a highly motivated ITS/Traffic Engineer with 5-10 years of experience performing varying tasks related to traffic, ITS, and transportation management associated with roadway construction projects. Successful candidates will be expected to coordinate and manage a variety of traffic related engineering projects or task assignments including but not limited to: traffic signal plans, signing and pavement marking plans, ITS plans, crash analysis, planning studies, traffic analysis and studies (TIS, HOP, TMP), maintenance and protection of traffic plans, ITS systems engineering and architecture, and simulation modelling. Construction Management and Inspection skills are a plus. Successful candidates will be expected to effectively oversee and mentor staff and perform, coordinate with and manage design staff . Coordination with clients, contractors, outside consultants, government agencies and project stakeholders will be key to successful project delivery. Qualifications: 5-10 years of experience in ITS/Traffic Engineering PE license in PA (PTOE preferred) Bachelor's degree Relevant experience with PennDOT, Phila Streets Dept, and PA Turnpike Project management and communication skills Familiarity with PennDOT publications, MUTCD, and AASHTO guidelines Experience with AutoCAD, and/or Microstation To be considered, please apply with a resume.
