Job Title: Software Asset Management Analyst Location: Carmel, IN(local candidate working a hybrid schedule) Job Description: Contribute and adhere to the processes and standards in place for managing information technology (IT) assets, renewals, and optimizing software investments throughout their respective lifecycles. Desired Skills: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of software licenses, versions, and deployments throughout the organization. Ensure adherence to software licensing agreements, monitor license usage, and take necessary measures to address any non-compliance issues. Analyze software usage patterns, identify opportunities for optimization, and implement strategies to optimize license allocation and reduce costs (ex: co-terming agreements). Prepare software asset-related reports and documentation, such as license entitlements, deployments, usage, and compliance status. Identify and mitigate software asset management risks, such as security vulnerabilities, unauthorized software usage, and potential legal implications. Work closely with other departments to ensure successful deployment of processes; providing communication when gaps are identified. Drive version control and application end of support awareness through research and analysis Understanding of database normalization and relationship dependencies. Continuously evaluate and improve software asset management processes, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Education Requirements: Bachelors Certifications needed: ITIL Preferred
