The company is rapidly expanding their capabilities to advance a deep pipeline of new cancer therapeutics into the clinic.Associate Scientists will be involved in all aspects of cancer nanomedicine development including concept and rationale, formulation development and testing, and will support senior staff in preparing data for regulatory submissions. For this reason, the preferred candidate should expect to work on a diverse array of projects and learn new skills related to the development of therapeutic nanomedicines, while having a desire for career advancement and growth.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist research scientists by conducting basic laboratory procedures including ELISA, Western Blot, agarose gel electrophoresis, tissue cultureMaintaining multiple human and murine cell lines and other culture techniques such as proliferation studies and cell countingLight microscopy, photography (light, fluorescence, phase contrast).Isolating primary PBMCs or splenocytesWorking with in vitro and in vivo cancer modelsPreparing media, buffers, and similar reagentsMaintaining clear and accurate laboratory recordsIdentifying, communicating, and reporting unusual resultsoutcomesMaintaining a clean and orderly lab spaceUnderstanding of foundational laboratory operations and related policies and proceduresAnalysis of experimental data related to laboratory procedures for application to team progressQualifications:B.S. with 3+ years of professional experience in a related field. Recent M.S. graduates with professional experience in professional or academic research environment.Ability to take notes and communicate experimental methods, observations, and data verbally and in writing.Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipmentHigh level of attention to detail with strong organizational skills
