Job Title: Associate Process PlannerJob Location: North Berwick, MaineJob Overview:The Process Planner is responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes that meet production requirements, while ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role involves analyzing manufacturing processes, identifying areas of improvement, and designing new processes to optimize production output.Key Responsibilities:Analyze existing assembly processes and identify areas for improvementDesign and develop new manufacturing processes and procedures to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve qualityDevelop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process flow diagramsEnsure that all processes are compliant with relevant regulations, including health and safety standards and environmental regulationsWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to identify and address process-related issuesDevelop and implement process monitoring systems to track production performance and identify opportunities for improvementDevelop and deliver training programs to ensure that all staff are trained on relevant manufacturing processesProvide technical support to production teams to troubleshoot process-related issuesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to manufacturing processesWork ExperienceQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field3-5 years of experience in a process planning or manufacturing engineering roleStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentExperience with computer-aided design (CAD) software and process simulation toolsStrong project management skillsKnowledge of regulatory requirements related to manufacturing processes and environmental regulations.
