Inventory Control Specialist This exciting role will ensure efficient and accurate inventory management throughout the organization. This person will lead a team and oversee all inventory control processes, ensure compliance with company guidelines, and make valuable suggestions for process improvement. The company is headquartered in the Burlington, WA area. It is a leading designer and manufacturer of solar cells and PV Modules for the renewable energy industry. If you are an individual who loves inventory control and wants to make a difference in the renewable energy industry, this role could be for you!Responsibilities:Ensure the team works towards achieving the objectives related to inventory control management and make suggestions for improvement to the management Train staff in all inventory control processes according to manual and update processes as required Monitor all procurement requests of facilities, ensure accuracy in all inbound inventory, and maintain records Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct number of items are in stock Investigate, identify, and reconcile the cycle count discrepancies, (for shortages as well as overages) Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies and troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs Respond to sales inquiries and purchase ordersCollect and analyze data to determine appropriate order quantities and process orders for shipment Review operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfillment Track rates of accuracy, purchase, return, and defective items to inform quality control decisions Prepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports and review reports monthly with management Nurture positive relationships with suppliers and provide customer service as needed Work in tandem with various departments and maintain a flexible attitude supporting all the work that helps in achieving organizational goals Process inventory movements Maintain BOM inventory consumption Qualifications:High School Diploma Forklift knowledge and experience Proven experience in inventory management Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Experience working within a warehousing industry is preferred Supervisory experience is preferredAbility to work cross-functionally Flexibility in work hoursschedule Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP) is preferredSalary Range:$21-25hr depending on experience.
