MAU is hiring a Manufacturing Manager for our client in King of Prussia, PA. As a Manufacturing Manager, you will direct and coordinate all manufacturing activities in compliance with required output and quality standards. You will participate in the overall direction of manufacturing processes and related specifications. This is a direct-hire opportunity.Benefits Package:Competitive compensation packageHealth, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurance401k and 401k matchingSick leaveShort and long-term disabilityPaid vacationPaid holidaysOpportunity for advancementShift Information:8:00 AM - 5:00 PMRequired Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree5+ years of experience in the chemical manufacturing spacePreferred Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Chemical EngineeringLean Six SigmaEssential Functions:Oversee the training of employees, setting of departmental production and performance goals, organization of work, and maintenance of a productive and motivational climateOversee and participate in the development of performance, efficiency, and product quality standards for the plant's chemical circuitsGuide supervisors and technical support personnel regarding the coordination of plant standards with overall company objectivesManage production campaigns and inventory levels to optimize labor and equipment efficienciesSubmit timely reports, as required, to the appropriate personnelOversee the maintenance of proper levels of labor, the general conformance with employee rules, the issue of warnings, and the administration of disciplinary measures when necessaryEnsure, through the supervisors and operators, the safe and environmentally sound operation of all production processes at KOP OperationsDevelop and support the strategic business unit strategies for KOP OperationsLiaison between KOP Operations and external organizations (i.e., customer and civic affiliations)Establish operating budgets and forecasts, reflecting current and future short-run production capabilitiesMentor professional growth and development of employees in the Production DepartmentCoordinate production scale R&D trialsServe as a senior member of the plant staff in the development and implementation of plant policies and proceduresDevelop, review, and revise circuit SOPs as necessary using the Qualtrax systemPerform other tasks as assignedMAU Workforce Solutions is an innovative global company with extensive experience providing solutions for success in staffing, recruiting, technology and outsourcing to our clients, employees, and applicants.
