Associate Scientist

Role: Associate Scientist - Level 1 US Location: King of Prussia 19406 Duration: 12 months Shift = Standard Day Shift (Mon-Fri; 40 hrswk; 8 hrsday) wweekend work required occasionally, as needed. Onsite role. Description: *Upstream Role *PAPR screening will be required after hire & will require completion of US Medical ClearanceSurveillance needed for CW to be completed for Respirator Use (Non-SCBA (OSHA regulated)) Description: • Records and interprets data.• Positions work under the direct supervision of a group leader or project manager.Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent.• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations• No experience requiredPreferred Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or other engineering or scientific field• 1+ years of cGMP experience• Knowledge of cGMP guidelines and standards.• Able to troubleshoot.• Capable of following written instructions and have clear written communication skills as well as computer literacy.• Familiar with basic scientific principles and have experience in routine bench work andor instrumental analysis.• Proficiency in executing standard procedures required in addition to some non-routine work.• Be knowledgeable of ...â—‹ Upstream equipment (aka unit operations) and process overview (media prep, small scale, large scale).â—‹ Analytical equipment (VI-Cell, NOVA, Centrifuge, tubing welder,)â—‹ PLC DCS HMI• Ability to author, revise andor support SOP's, change controls, deviations.Soft Skills: • Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization.• Ability to multi-task within a multi-functional team environment.
