What you will work onThe Business Intelligence Analyst plays a key role within Proximo Spirits and the Business Intelligence and Analytics division providing support on data analytics to drive Customer and Brand growth.This person will support key deliverables to bring and improve insights into key enterprise metrics and drive action based on the resulting insights. They will partner closely with the internal to understand their problems and design datasets that can deliver concrete insights in a scalable and sustainable way. They will communicate findings and implications for stakeholders from various functions. This person will report to the Manager of BI & Analytics.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver and maintain robust portfolio of analytics solutions that assist Proximo in achieving its objectives and improving performanceAssist with team on qualitative and quantitative custom research projects throughout all stages including design, execution, analysis and recommendationProviding reports through Tableau & Excel to improve business processes -Create and edit SQL queries within Snowflake Tableau to build calculated fields. -Create interactive filters, parameters and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau. -Manage inclusive data quality checks to ensure high quality and build trust in the dashboards and analyticsAssist in supporting data-driven strategic thinking to frame complex questions into analytical problems and provide meaningful insightsAssist in providing deliverables that are grounded in consumershopper understanding and brand building fundamentalsAssist in Monitoring and improving BI operations, automating processes where possible and identifying and correcting issues proactivelyCollaborate with other analysts and stakeholders to identify data sources, build scalable data models, and operationalize the data municate with technical and non-technical audiencesSupport ad-hoc requests as needed -Includes but not limited to Administrative Tasks such as: Pricing Inputs Program Templates Price Reconciliation.What you bringInitiative: Takes responsibility to get work done efficiently and effectivelyAnalytical Mindset: Organizes and thinks through large amounts of information, arriving at a succinct conclusionStrategic thinking and problem solving: Understands category strategy and how to use analyses to deliver actionable findings for risks and opportunitiesAccountability: High level of accountability, flexibility, and self-direction to work autonomouslyEffective storyteller: Consistently goes beyond the data and translates the data into meaningful strategic stories bringing the data to life and driving insights-based business decisionsIntellectual curiosity: Approaches business questions with curiosity to understand, build insights, and ultimately solve for the right actionPassion for success, including the success of others: Track record of positive impact that includes a significant component of working with and through others to achieve the goalProficient project manager: Able to prioritize team-level tasks and manage schedule to complete work on time and within deliverable expectationsDetail oriented: Consistently delivers quality, error-free work with close attention to detailStrong interpersonal skills: Able to work well with others and collaborate productively with other team members and other divisionsCommunicate effectively: Demonstrates ability to effectively express ideas and opinionsDeveloped Presentation Skills: Effective presentation acumen towards developing decks for audiences of various sizes and management levelKey RelationshipsInternal: Business Intelligence, Commercial Strategy, Field Sales & MarketingExternal: Vendor PartnersDesired Experience, Knowledge, and CharacteristicsBachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Computer Science (or related field) and 3 years of experience. Experience handling sensitive data, and exercising judgment and discretionExperience in working with ETL Tools, Tableau, SQL (JOINS, SUB-Categories), Python 3 ProgrammingExperience managing, manipulating, and validating large data sets from multiple systems, tools, and reports using statistical software or other methodsExperience building and maintaining data pipelines and architecture.Relational database modelling and implementation using SQL.Strong knowledge of data manipulation, database design, foundational data analytics and data platform structures; ability to manage large data sets & databasesExperience in UI, UX space (can be concurrent or overlap with Tableau experience) demonstrable with evidence of using a combination of user interface tools such as wire frames, prototypes, mock-ups, or white boarding to illustrate product usability.Proficient with data exploration and data visualization tools like Tableau (CloudDesktopServer, Prep), Looker, Chartio, Micro Strategy, PowerBI and syndicated 3rd party data.Extensive Coding Language Background such as Python, R, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C++Experience Importing libraries like Seaborn, PandasExpert Microsoft Office Proficiency -Excel to include advanced functions and logic (IF Statement, VLOOKUPS, RANDBETWEEN, PIVOT TABLES, SORTER)The salary range for this role is a base salary of $70,700 - $94,200 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, and medical and wellness benefits. The range will vary if outside of this location.
