Material Inspector

Members of our staff can design, prototype, and produce next generation products for a diverse range of markets including environmental, medical, automotive, military, industrial, aerospace, and communications.We seek a diligent, dedicated and meticulous Inspector who will help to further our success and reputation in the industry through world-class customer service.Responsibilities:Inspect, measure and record mechanical, optical, and electrical features of incoming components per defined criteriaEnsure inspection is completed within 24 hours of receiptMaintain accurate records of inspection results, including detailed documentation of any defects or discrepancies foundImmediately communicate deviations to relevant stakeholders, including Procurement department, Production and Engineering teamsMaintain custody of materials until disposition is completeRequirements:High school diploma or A.S.3 years experience performing mechanical inspection utilizing tools such as micrometers, Vernier calipers, bore gauges, dial indicators, scales, and measurement microscopesDocumented experience handling and measuring optical components is desireStrong verbal and written English communication skillsAvo Photonics offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
