The role involves:Quote building to support Sales team "” working with Sales to source up to date pricing for components required for building accurate quotes and getting them to customers as quickly as possible.Researching and analyzing industry trends, cost drivers, and supplier capabilities.Sourcingfinding new suppliers and commoditiesservicesNegotiating contracts andor pricing with suppliersEvaluating suppliers and comparing them to find the most cost effective and reliable productsDeveloping and implementing sourcing strategiesQualificationsSupplier Evaluation, Supplier Management, Purchasing, and Procurement skillsSupply Chain Management expertiseStrong analytical and negotiation skillsAttention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively and independentlyExperience in the automotive andor truck equipment related industry is a plusComputer skills "” Microsoft suite, SmartSheets, ERP
