ENGINEERING MANAGER - Just North of Cincinnati, OhioPosition Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead and enhance our engineering and maintenance operations. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across our facilities. The successful candidate will spearhead initiatives in process improvement, safety management, and environmental compliance, ensuring optimal performance and sustainability.Key Responsibilities:Safety and Compliance: Develop and manage safety programs adhering to OSHA standards, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with all regulations related to chemical manufacturing.Project Management: Oversee engineering projects from design through completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and implement new technologies.Facility Maintenance: Establish and manage preventive maintenance programs, coordinate infrastructure upgrades, and ensure compliance with health and environmental standards.Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers and maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment while providing mentorship and performance evaluations.Financial Oversight: Develop and manage budgets for engineering and maintenance activities, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring resource optimization.Supervisory Responsibilities:Oversee Continuous Improvement Engineer, Application Engineer, Sr. EH&S Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor.Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of engineering, maintenance, and safety personnel.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering; MBA is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of management experience in engineering or a related field.Proven leadership and project management skills.Strong facility management and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency with statistical process control tools and quality systems (ISO).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Core Competencies:Collaboration and CommunicationEthics and IntegrityInnovative Thinking and Business AcumenResults-Driven and Strategic VisionFostering Diversity and Talent ManagementWork Environment Physical Demands:Ability to bend, lift, and climb to oversee equipment installation and maintenance.Capability to observe, listen, and troubleshoot equipment effectively.Join us and contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence in engineering management.Please contact: Debbie Hunter - Senior RecruiterFORTUNE Personnel Consultants of CALENDAR - is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see." - Mark Twain
