Sofidel America is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics and Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations and logistics management. As a key player in our U.S. operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of our tissue paper products across our distribution network, while maintaining the highest levels of service, quality, and compliance with Sofidel's standards and industry regulations. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive continuous process improvements to support our growing operations.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of Sofidel America's warehouse facilities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching tissue paper products, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in all processes.Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize transportation routes, minimize costs, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers across the U.S.Manage stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet demand while minimizing waste.Lead, train, and supervise a team of warehouse staff, including warehouse associates, forklift operators, and drivers. Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Ensure all warehouse activities comply with Sofidel's safety standards, OSHA regulations, and other industry requirements. Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and training sessions.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels in alignment with Sofidel's global operational standards.Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of raw materials and finished goods, maintaining strong relationships and negotiating favorable terms.Prepare and present regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as warehouse performance, inventory levels, transportation costs, and delivery times.Manage and control the warehouse budget, including staffing, equipment maintenance, and operational expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations.Utilize Sofidel's warehouse management system (WMS) and other software tools to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and maintain accurate inventory records.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.Proven experience managing warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and transportation logistics within a large-scale operation.Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing diverse teams.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for warehouse environments, particularly in compliance with OSHA standards.Strong analytical skills and experience in budget management and cost optimization.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.Knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations, and experience in global supply chain management.Why Join Sofidel America:Competitive salary and performance-based prehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) with company match.Paid time off and holidays.Professional development opportunities.A collaborative and supportive work environment.Equal Opportunity Employer: Sofidel America is an equal opportunity employer.
