Our assets span the United States, with two cement production facilities, three cement import terminals, a network of rail distribution terminals, six aggregate quarriesmines, over eighty company-owned ready-mix concrete plants, and ten fly ash processingdistribution sites.About the Role: Role: Sales Manager - Norfolk VA BeachReports to: General ManagerResponsibilities: Facilitate the expansion of sales to existing customers and the development of sales to new customersGather pertinent information on market conditions and competition in the geographical territory and research specifications to make informed decisions in preparing bid packages and strategic initiativesAttain sales goals for territory, volume, average selling price, etcDevelop and update monthly sales demand within the territory based on customers' estimated requirementsKeep informed of new productsservices and other information of interest to customers; participate in trade association meetings and conventionsDevelop extensive working relationships with customers, as well as other departments, such as dispatch, quality control, and production to ensure customer needs are addressedWork to resolve customer issues, problems, and concerns in a timely and effective mannerMaintain excellent customer communications regarding timely deliveries, compliments complaints, accurate orders, and job-site preparationAssist accounts receivable in the collection of moniesDevelop and maintain territory intelligence, identifying the market size, customers, and competitorsInform customers of price and supply trendsServe as a safety and logistics liaison on job sites as needed Qualifications and Skills: 2 or 4-year degree in business, construction management, or marketing preferred - or - equivalent working experience10+ years of construction industry experience, knowledge of ready-mix industry preferredValid driver's licenseRemuneration:Competitive salaryAnnual bonusCompany vehicle Major medical, dental, visionAnd much more...
