About Us: We are a brand new paint-your-own pottery studio that combines creativity with nature! Our studio features a calming atmosphere filled with indoor plants, providing a unique space for customers to relax and create their own hand-painted pottery pieces. We are seeking friendly, enthusiastic, and creative individuals to join our small team and help us deliver an unforgettable experience to our customers.Position: Studio AssistantResponsibilities:Greet and assist customers as they enter the studioExplain how the pottery painting process works and guide customers in selecting pottery piecesProvide creative advice and tips to customers on painting techniquesMaintain a clean and organized workspace, including pottery shelves, painting stations, and plant displaysEnsure paints, brushes, and other materials are restocked regularlyHandle cash register and process transactionsClean and glaze pottery pieces after customers complete their designsWater and care for indoor plants to ensure they remain healthy and vibrantAssist with hosting workshops, events, and private partiesMonitor kiln operations and manage pottery firing schedules (training provided)Maintain an inviting and friendly atmosphere for customers of all agesHelp with marketing efforts such as posting on social media or organizing local promotions (as needed)Qualifications:Excellent customer service skills with a positive and approachable demeanorBasic artistic skills or experience with painting (preferred but not required)Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitaskStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsPassion for creativity, plants, and working with peopleWillingness to learn and assist with kiln operations (training provided)Availability on weekends and holidays (flexible schedule)Perks:Fun, creative work environment with opportunities to develop artistic skillsDiscounts on pottery and painting suppliesTraining provided for all aspects of the studio operationsFlexible scheduling
