SummaryObjective:The OEM Sales Manager at Aalberts HFC plays a critical role in driving the growth and success of our original equipment manufacturer partnerships. This role demands a dynamic and strategic sales leader who will develop and nurture relationships with OEM partners, create and implement effective sales strategies, and ensure our offerings align with OEM market needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OEM account management, a deep understanding of our industry, and a commitment to delivering exceptional value to our OEM partners through innovative solutions and dedicated support.Essential Functions:Pursues new OEM business opportunities. Identifies all new business prospects and assists OEMs in securing those opportunities.Works with management team in evaluating new products and product enhancements.Works with the Customer Service department to ensure quality customer service for all customers.Maintains and evaluates relevant data concerning competitors, customers, industry trends, and communicates this from the field to the management team.Develop and review both short and long term sales strategies.Supports management team in reviewing and adjusting pricing strategies.Assists in organizing and executing customer training and sales presentations.Provides applications and sales support to OEMs, engineers, end users, and internal Aalberts departments.Supports Management Team in setting sales goals for OEMs.Assists team in creating content for newsletters, social media posts and webinars.Will be required to enter or edit customer orders on occasion as business needs demand.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications, and taking part in professional petencies:Solid understanding of hydronic heating and cooling systems, products, and applications. The employee must frequently lift andor move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift andor move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Core working hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. working at least 40 hours each week. Evening and weekend work is required as work duties and requirements demand. TravelThis position requires frequent and regular travel up to 60%. Must be able to travel Regionally, Nationally, and Internationally (Canada & Mexico). A valid passport with no restrictions is required.Required Education and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience 5+ years industry experience in OEM sales or similar positionSolid understanding of hydronic heating and cooling systems, products, and applications.Able to handle multiple tasks concurrently while maintaining flexibilityFluent in languages spoken within territories of responsibility. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Education and Experience:Sales experience in the HVAC (OEM) industry.
