Compensation: $140,000 - $155,000year + bonus + vehicle allowanceLocation: Philadelphia, PAResponsibilities as the Demolition Estimator:Project Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for demolition projects, including full building demolitions, selective interior demolition, and repurposing efforts.Scope Assessment: Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to accurately determine the scope of work and project requirements.Bid Preparation: Develop comprehensive bids, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs, ensuring competitiveness and accuracy.Risk Analysis: Identify potential risks associated with projects and incorporate contingency plans into estimates.Coordination: Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing and availability of required services.Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all estimates, including assumptions and cost breakdowns for future reference.Qualifications for the Demolition Estimator:Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Experience: 7-15 years of experience in estimating demolition work, ranging from full building demolitions to repurposing projects.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of demolition techniques, equipment, and industry standards.Skills: Effective communication and analytical skills for engaging stakeholders and developing accurate project dustry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of demolition techniques, equipment, and industry standards.Application Notice: Qualified candidates will be contacted within 2 business days of application.
