Assistant General Manager

Our client is a national distributor and is seeking a candidate that can be developed or has the experience to be a General Manager over one of their distribution centers. This person must be open to relocation within the US after training.Position Responsibilities:Lead and ensure a safe working environment for all employees in 247 warehouse environmentProvide direction and leadership to the transportation and warehouse management teamsExecute company processes successfully to ensure 100% compliance, ensure annual performance goals are met or exceededParticipate in the development of budgets, P&L StatementsPresent at customer and employee meetingsRequired Skills:Bachelors degree in business, finance, economics, or operations related discipline plus at least 7 years of related industry experience with 4 years of people leadership experience.Self-motivated and disciplined team playerStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environmentExhibit a sense of urgency and focus on results
