Our client is a medical products manufacturer located in Oxford, CT, have been in business since 2007 and have been continuing to grow ever since! They manufacture package and sterilize foam pads, bandages, IV tubes among other medical products. The IV tubes are specially made so that they can be heated up by EMT's while rushing to save someone, and have a great success rate in saving people when they have huge losses of blood. Responsibilities: Responsible for customers satisfaction regarding quality of all shipped product. Ensure all CAPA's, NCR's, complaints and MRB's are completed properly and on time. Participate in making sure the Company is prepared for all internal and external quality audits. Recommend and implement measures to improve production efficiency, product quality and employee safety. Perform scheduled and unscheduled audits of various areas of the company and report findings to the QA/RA Manager. Demonstrate initiative by evaluating situations, making decisions based on facts and solid judgements Act in a manner that represents the professional manner reflecting the company's core values and principles and golden rule. Arrive at meetings on time and be prepared to participate. Maintain a cooperative working relationship with subordinates, supervisors, and all other staff members Constantly look for and suggest ways to perform duties and responsibilities more effectively, what we call "act Like an Owner. Maintain a positive attitude and be a positive example to coworkers Perform all duties in a manner that is compliant with all applicable regulatory bodies (FDA/ISO) Respect the confidentiality of the company, our customers and each other Work diligently and strive to meet all commitments Perform other duties and tasks as may be assigned by the QA/RA Manager, President or Leadership Team. Maintain a positive attitude and be a positive example to coworkers Qualifications: 3-5 years of quality control supervisor experience. Medical device industry experience or airline industry experience. Schedule: Mon - Fri 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (hours can be flexible) Pay Rate: $70K - 85K IND-123
