Title: Senior Merchandise PlannerSalary: $95-110KLocation: New York CitySchedule: Hybrid Role (3x a week in the office)Company Profile: A leading manufacturer and importer of branded and private label apparel is looking to add a Senior Omni Merchandise Planner to join their team. This person will be responsible for leading the internal omni-channel supply chain planning process such as driving the store merchandise assortment strategy, creating financial and unit buy plans that meet or exceed sales & margin expectations, item creation, and sales reporting.The Senior Merchandise Planner will Be Responsible For the Following:Building business financial plansbudgets through data-driven historical analysis, business intelligence, and consumer trends to determine future sales potential (brick & mortar and eCommerce)Store Modular and Online Merchandise Assortment StrategyItem Creation and Maintenance in internal and customer systemsForecasting & reporting of sales, inventory, and margin performanceLeverage data visualization software and possess strong presentation skills to provide actionable business intelligence that can positively impact P&LCollaborate with customer to report sales and track budgets and performanceThe Senior Merchandise Planner Should Have the Following Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree5+ years retail merchandise planning experienceExcellent verbal and communication skillsAbility to demonstrate strong analytical and conceptual skillsStrong retail math skills (margin, turn, return on investment)Highly proficient in Excel and working knowledge of SQL and PowerBIAbility to partner and communicate with cross functional teams
