Director of Logistics

Description: Lead the Logistics department and coordinate with other Radchem directors to execute the organization's strategy.Primary Responsibilities:Develop and roll out new dynamic logistics operating proceduresStrengthen carrier and terminal relationships across the countryExpand footprint in new geographical marketsAct as point person on freight negotiations of dedicated contractsServe as logistics liaison for imports and exportsAnalyze and assess market trendsQualifications:Experience managing a team in a professional services setting is preferred Bachelor's degree from accredited institution in business or related fieldProficient with Microsoft Office applications, advanced knowledge of Excel desired Comfortable with technology systems, familiarity with Dynamics 365 or Salesforce a plusCompany Overview: Radchem Products, Inc. is a chemical distribution company located in the southwest Chicago suburbs.
