DEPARTMENT: RetailPOSITION: Stylist LOCATION: New York CitySALARY: $20-25hrEXPERIENCE: Minimum 2+ years working in a luxury retail environmentOVERVIEWTanya Taylor is seeking a stylist to join the retail team at their Madison Avenue Flagship. Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered. Responsibilities:Client Management:Greet customers as they arrive in the store and style them based on their shopping needsServe as a brand storyteller and help create an inclusive environment for our customersExecute purchases and returns at the checkout counterRestock and organize merchandise on the sales floorResolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional mannerLead customer service quality to meet customer expectations by offering excellent customer service standards Develop dedicated Tanya Taylor customers, implement appropriate CRM tools and maintain customer databaseAct as brand ambassador to strengthenform relationships with VIP clienteleprospect customersAdministrative & Operations Management:Support in inventory and cycle counts to ensure alignment and partnership between front of house and back of houseHelp prevent shrinkage by playing an active role on the sales floorSupport management by sharing sales + anecdotal customer data for reporting Business Development and Performance Management:Work cross-functionally with corporate partners to drive and increase sales performance for overall businessAnalyze the business, propose, and implement action plans to improve results, generate sales for each product categoryIdentify new opportunities to attract and retain clientsSupport store events to grow the business and brand awareness Work closely with the merchandising + logistics teams to ensure that appropriate stock and assortment levels are met on the floorADDITIONAL INFORMATIONQualifications:Minimum 2 years of previous retail experience Womenswear andor luxury experience preferredEstablished client relationships Sales-inclined and goal oriented Excellent social skills: the ability to communicate optimally both verbally and in writing.Has a friendly and professional demeanorPassionate about fashion and stylingAbility to use POS system and its inventory management functionsAbility to work in a collaborative team environmentAbility to lift boxesweight up to 30 lbsMust have flexible schedule: some nights, weekends, and holidays as neededABOUT TANYA TAYLORTanya Taylor is a New York based womenswear brand whose mission is to create clothing that inspires confidence, celebration and community.
