General Manager

LaSalle Network is partnering with a market-leading packaging manufacturer to hire a General Manager for a brand-new Plant location in Elgin, IL. This is a privately-owned organization with 6 US entities. The General Manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of this new plant location. This includes but is not limited to the safety and welfare of all employees, P&L management, all financial matters, quality, operations, EHS, sales, customer relations, HR, design, IT and marketing. General Manager Responsibilities:Lead, mentor and develop plant management and staff to achieve operational goalsFoster a culture of safety, teamwork and continuous improvementOversee daily operations to ensure efficient production processes and adherence to quality standardsImplement best practices for production, maintenance and logistics to optimize performanceP&L management, ensuring cost-effective operationsAnalyze financial reports and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actionsEnsure compliance with industry standards and company quality policiesOversee quality assurance programs to maintain high product standardsEnsure a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety regulationsMaintain compliance with all local, state and federal regulations regarding manufacturing processes General Manager Requirements:Bachelor's degree preferred8+ years of experience in manufacturing, with 3+ years in a leadership role within the corrugated industryStrong financial acumen and ability to manage a P&LStrong knowledge of corrugated production processes and equipmentProven track record in driving operational efficiencies and implementing continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills If you meet the qualifications and are interested, apply today!
