The OpportunityWe are seeking a passionate and driven Intern to join our Consumer Insights team. In this role, you will support the team in enhancing consumer understanding, analyzing consumer trends, market data, and performance reports, and contributing valuable insights to help guide decision-making. This internship is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the beauty industry, learning about how data informs brand strategy, marketing initiatives, and consumer experiences.What you'll get to do: Assist in analyzing sales data, consumer behavior, and market trends using available datasets including sales reports and consumer data via Circana Support the team in conducting market research to gather consumer insights, competitor benchmarks, and industry trendsWork with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and brand management, to deliver actionable insights based on data findingsAssist in preparing and developing high impact, stylized presentations of insights and analytics with recommendations to internal teamsProvide general support to the Analytics and Consumer Insights department, including data entry and maintaining databases and dashboardsWork across both Prestige and Niche brand clusters and analyze multiple categories including fragrance and makeupWe'd love to meet you if you have: Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, Consumer Behavior, or related fields (preferred) Interest in understanding consumer behavior and trends, with a basic understanding of data interpretationAbility to present insights clearly and effectively, both in visualized reports and verbal presentationsComfortable with Excel, PowerPoint, and an interest in learning analytical tools (experience with tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or Nielsen are a plus)Creative PowerPoint presentation building skills that represent datainsights and have strong visualdesign appealStrong organizational skills and attention to accuracy in data reporting and analysisAbility to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and in-person three days a week Ability to work 25- 29 hours per week, and in-person three days a week Compensation: As required by New York State's salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the hourly rate for this position is $20.00 an hour.
