Art Director

Position Overview:We are looking for a hands-on, in-person team member who thrives on getting their hands dirty and is eager to be an essential part of our close-knit team. In this role, you'll be an integral member of our small but mighty team, where flexibility and collaboration are the keys to our success. Your expertise in graphic design will be essential in maintaining our high-quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Design and Conceptualization: Create visually appealing design concepts and materials for various print, digitalvideo, and social projects, including event collateral, Instagram reels, and posts.Ideation and Development: Creating content and ideas as they relate to the brand (celebrating special occasions and everyday moments, memory keeping, and more).Typography and Layout: Develop captivating layouts utilizing typography and Darcy's illustrations and composition to effectively convey our stories and messages.Digital & Social Media Expertise: Design and adapt graphics for online platforms, including websites, social media, and email campaigns, ensuring a consistent brand presence across all digital channels.Quality Control: Maintain a keen eye for detail and ensure all designs meet the highest quality standards and brand guidelines.Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and techniques to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team.Qualifications:3-5 years of professional graphic design experience.Strong portfolio showcasing a range of print, digital, and social design work.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with basic animation skills a plus.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Illustration skills are a bonus but not required.We create joyful and inspiring designs for all things celebrations.
