General Description: The Business Development Coordinator is the key partner for a specific seller in Bergdorf Goodman ensuring the seller exceeds defined performance targets while delivering the BG brand client experience. The BDS also plays a key role in building and developing an exceptional team that consistently provides superior client service. Responsibilities: Manages assistant team; provides coaching, training and development in all aspects of their roles including customer service, selling ceremony, monthly scheduling, clinicmeeting attendance, and follow up on daily task completion. Executes Client Strategies for emerging VIC + status clients as well as a strategy for Development and Retention of current VIC client relationships. Communicates with merchants and sales leaders to provide information on new receipts with the attention to the needs of the client. Ensures management of holds, preorders, memos and will call through BG guidelines Develop one-on-one relationships with key internal and external partners Utilize technology to drive sales and new client acquisition through social media and internal clientele program Champions all companystore initiatives. Additional duties as assigned.
