Mechanical Designer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical DesignerDrafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for various projects using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members.Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on specifications provided by engineers and project managers.Collaborate with engineers and project teams to understand project requirements and provide design solutions.Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards and regulations in all designs. Prepare layouts, assembly drawings, and schematics for projects.Review and revise designs as needed based on feedback from stakeholders.Maintain and organize CAD files and documentation to ensure easy access and retrieval.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSAssociate's degree or equivalent in drafting, design technology, engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a CAD DesignerDrafter, preferably designing piping, structural component, sheet metalProficient in SolidWorksLOCATION: Kent, WA - Onsite Monday - FridayContract with option for extensionconversion to FTEBENEFITS: Medical insurance, 401K, sick leave, and employee assistance program.
