Jr. Packaged Goods Buyer Our client is seeking a Junior Packaged Goods Buyer to join their growing manufacturing facility. The Junior Packaged Goods Buyer will assist in purchasing and negotiating food products to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communications. Research market trends and industry developments to support informed purchasing decisions. Assist the finance team in reconciling invoices and resolving discrepancies. Learn about regulatory requirements and industry standards related to food safety, quality, and sustainability. Skill Set: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field. 1-4 years of experience in procurement or a related field, preferably within the food and beverage industry. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities with a willingness to learn. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with procurement software is a plus. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and organization.
