PurposeThe Digital Signage Specialist is responsible for supporting hardware and software as well as preparing and distributing media for digital signage systems at installations across the country.ResponsibilitiesProvides service and support to internal and external customersManages incoming calls or service requests from PTG clients; troubleshoots and determines whether a technician is necessaryProactive monitoring of all the elements of the networks under management contractsCreates internal job tracking and documentationVerifies warranty of existing productsCreates quote of necessary labor andor parts for service request, obtains client approvalEnsures all necessary equipment is shipped to the sitetechnician and confirms technician for scheduled dates and timeConfirms service request has been completed to the clients' satisfaction and obtains all necessary documentation from the technicianDocuments all aspects of the service callSend service job to Accounting for close outMaintains internal and external ticketing systemsConfigure, install, and maintain hardware and software components of our infrastructureProvision and maintain Windows, Android and Mac based devices, media players, Content Management Systems, and other proprietary hardwareQualificationsBachelor's degree in field of Technology2+ years working experience in digital signage or other similar technologiesExperience with Brightsign, Scala, Navori, Signage Live CMS or other digital signage platformsHardware knowledge of small form factor devices and network appliancesAbility to manage workload and delegate as necessaryKnowledge of network structures and various remote connectivity applications (Screen Connect, LogMeIn, RDP, and Any Desk)Advanced knowledge of MS OfficeExperience with Q360 and Zendesk a plusAbility to effectively perform in deadline driven environments
