We are committed to delivering exceptional legal services and building strong relationships with our clients in a collaborative and energetic work environment.Our firm specializes in removal defense, humanitarian applications, family-based immigration, criminal-immigration, employment-based immigration, naturalization, and appellate and federal litigation.We seek a highly motivated attorney to join Murray Osorio PLLC's team. The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated interest in immigration law, excellent legal skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding legal services to clients. A partnership track is available to all attorneys employed by Murray Osorio. This presents a great opportunity for those who wish to advance their legal careers.Responsibilities:Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on immigration matters.Membership in the bar of any state, and ability to practice before the immigration court and USCIS.Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents with USCIS, DOS, EOIR, and other government agencies.Conduct legal research and analysis of immigration laws, regulations, and policies.Monitor immigration policy and regulatory changes that could affect clients and provide guidance on compliance.Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure efficient and effective representation of clients.Build and maintain relationships with clients and potential plete work with limited to no guidance, though collaboration among colleagues is always encouraged.Handle a significant caseload and meet minimum case completion metrics.Conduct consultations for potential new clients.Work with paralegals through case processes.Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to work within a team setting.Qualifications:Active bar membership in New Jersey or New York in good standing.Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.Excellent legal research and writing skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.Have a deep understanding of immigration law.Fluency in Spanish preferred.2 years of immigration experience, ideally removal defense.3 years experience in draftingwriting legal documents.Benefits:We provide a comprehensive benefits package to support and reward our attorneys:Health Benefits: This plan includes dental, medical, and vision coverage to ensure you and your family are well cared for.401(k) Plan: Enhance your future with our competitive retirement savings program.Unlimited Paid Time Off: Available to all our attorneys, offering flexibility and a balanced work-life experience.Bar Dues and Memberships: We cover or reimburse the cost of annual bar dues for one state and the annual membership fees for the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).Professional Development: We cover costs for conferences, including international conferences, to support your continued growth and learning.
