Allied Resources is looking for a Senior Piping Designer who will be responsible for supporting all project activities throughout the project lifecycle for Midstream Pipeline and Petrochemical refinery projects. The Senior Piping Designer will be developing piping and plant layout drawings and documents that include isometrics, orthographics, and 3-D design. The position provides excellent compensation and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, and more!A day in the life:Development, design, and management of mechanical aspects of plant-based refiningchemical projects.Reviewing and development of calculations, equipment specifications, requisitions, P&IDs and drawings.Development of drawings for fabrication and construction of piping and equipment systems.Designing and equipment selection for pumps, compressors, valves, heat exchangers, heaters, coolers, boilers, or pressure vessels.Participate in procurement and operations specifications for equipment and systems.Work closely with Project Management scoping work including the application of man hours on a project.The wish list:Aptitude to cross-collaborate with a growing team of Designers.Experience in design in the Oil & Gas and Chemical sector including plants, oil, cryogenic, natural gas, petrochemical, or power systems.Experienced in AutoCAD 3D.
