Our client, a prestigious high-end timepiece company, is seeking an Assistant Boutique Manager to serve as a brand ambassador and represent the brand's image to boutique clients. The ideal candidate will leverage retail and CRM tools to achieve sales targets while supporting the Boutique Manager in daily operations. This role involves preparing business analyses and action plans to drive sales results.Job Description: Assistant Boutique ManagerLocation: Madison Ave, NYCCompensation: $75,000 - $85,000 base + commission and bonusKey Responsibilities:Sales:Meet personal budgets in alignment with the brand's retail strategy and achieve boutique KPIs set by the Boutique Manager and Retail Director.Regularly analyze business opportunities and confirmed sales in collaboration with the Boutique Manager to refine future projections.Lead the sales team in developing action plans to achieve boutique targets through exceptional client experiences and effective sales presentations, fostering long-term client relationships.Support the Boutique Manager in exceeding budgets in accordance with the brand's retail strategy.Assist in the preparation and delivery of monthly boutique meetings, including follow-up actions.Analyze boutique visits with sales team members and create action plans for potential conversion and retention.Team Management:Act as the manager-on-duty in the absence of the Boutique Manager.Identify and communicate training needs for boutique staff to the Boutique Manager.Ensure monthly staff programs are planned and effectively communicated.Support the Boutique Manager in onboarding and training new and existing team members.Monitor staff appearance and behavior to ensure compliance with company policies and boutique guidelines.Store Operations Management:Lead adherence to all company audit regulations and policies.Ensure accuracy during stocktaking and maintain quality control.Implement measures to prevent stock discrepancies.Oversee and support all required monthly reporting.Ensure proper maintenance of both front and back of house operations.Customer Experience & CRM Activities:Support the boutique team in delivering an exceptional selling ceremony.Foster a positive and constructive atmosphere within the boutique.Build genuine relationships with customers to enhance their experience.Qualifications:A proactive attitude and understanding of luxury retail sales operations.Bachelor's Degree required.5+ years of experience in luxury retail management and boutique operations with direct reports.Strong critical thinking and solution-oriented skills.Demonstrates initiative, conscientiousness, and thorough follow-through on responsibilities.Flexibility to adapt to changing work responsibilities.Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed; willingness to travel locally and internationally to support other boutiques and events.Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively within a group dynamic.Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; SAP proficiency is a plus.Secondary language is advantageous.Ability to assist with special projects as needed and lift up to 40 lbs.
