Title: Procurement Vendor ManagerClient: BankingFinancial Services Location: Auburn Hills Michigan 48326 or Farmington Hills, MI 48334Unit: Treasury Product Management Contract Duration: 12 MonthType: W2 Contract with Health and 401k benefitsLocation: Remote (should be able to work EST 8-5 M-F)Job Summary:The Procurement Vendor Manager will assist the Partner Product Solution Manager in ensuring that the Treasury Product Management organization adheres to business standards and operates efficiently. The role will focus on vendor management governance, collaboration with key stakeholders, and supporting the ongoing management of payments product-related initiatives, including billing processes and SharePoint site maintenance. The Vendor Management Manager will also be responsible for creating vendor management documentation, such as process mapping, frameworks, and contract tracking for sourced products.Duties and Responsibilities:Supplier Management (50% of Time Spent):Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned Treasury products through sourcing and procurement governance activities.Manage vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with contract deliverables and tracking supplier performance.Identify and address problems in supplier relationships by working with product owners, technology, procurement, and management.Lead strategic planning efforts to align supplier performance with product roadmaps, business plans, and market needs.Actively participate in the Sourcing RFx process and ensure the product requirements are met.Work with product owners to monitor the product life cycle, with a focus on customer retention and acquisition.Define, measure, and manage product risks, and report the success of assigned products to stakeholders.Portfolio and Revenue Management (25% of Time Spent):Collaborate with product owners to evaluate current market conditions and assess potential impacts on assigned products.Partner with the Enterprise Data, Product, and Liquidity teams to develop and roll out new dashboards for product health reporting.Assist in the development of pricing and positioning assessments to support product growth strategies.Operational Support and Continuous Improvement (25% of Time Spent):Partner with Operations teams to ensure product stability and the efficient resolution of operational or system issues.Establish and maintain escalation protocols for production-related issues, ensuring quick resolution and process improvement.Lead initiatives to continuously improve the operational processes related to production systems, ensuring optimal product performance.Key Skills and Qualifications:5-7 years of experience in Treasury Management products, sourcing, and vendor management.Strong expertise in supplier performance management, contract tracking, and sourcing governance.Experience with product lifecycle management, including strategic planning, product roadmaps, and customer retention.Proficiency in identifying and mitigating product risks, with a data-driven approach to product success measurement.Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams, including product owners, technology, procurement, and management.Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives within operational and production processes.Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with payments product management and supplier billing processes.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing documentation such as process maps, frameworks, and tracking tools.This role is pivotal in ensuring vendor governance, operational efficiency, and overall product health within the Treasury Product Management organization.
