We specialize in quickly acquiring and efficiently matching top-level professional talent with clients in immediate need of highly skilled contract, permanent or project management based resources.Our client manufactures 3D Lidar Sensors within the autonomous vehicle space. They are looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to join their team. This role is a 6 + Month CONTRACT in San Francisco, CA.You will be responsible for unloading deliveries, processing returns, locating merchandise, and packaging orders for shipment. You will also be required to interact with external carriers and internal cross-functional teams to resolve order related issues. To ensure success, you should have a good understanding of warehousing procedures, a good eye for detail, the ability to lift heavy objects, and ability to work at a fast pace environment. Ultimately, process orders quickly and efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards.* Packaging, Boxing, Shipping, and Inventory Review* Assistance with configuration of Lidar Sensors through command prompts via ERP system• Offloading delivery trucks transporting merchandise into the warehouse.• Arranging incoming deliveries in designated storage areas.• Reading and deciphering sale orders.• Locating and extracting merchandise from shelves and storage areas.• Confirming merchandise information matches that of the sale order.• Inspecting the merchandise for damage, flaws, and irregularities.• Packing the merchandise for delivery.• Transporting the packed items to the delivery trucks or carrier drop off location.• Finalizing the sale order fulfillment transactions and updating the database.• Managing domestic and international shipments• Working with internal cross functional teams on sale order resolution• Managing RMA on a regular basis• Schedule carrier shipments and pickups as needed• Assist in other warehouse activities as needed• Manage packaging inventory and supplies needed for fulfillment activitiesMust Haves:* Need Computer LiteracyProficient wEmails, Reading ERP Documents, and Basic Spreadsheet Knowledge* 3+ Years of Industry Experience* Must come from Tech warehousingtechnical background (no retail or groceryfulfilment shippingwarehouse background as only experience).* Experience or familiarity with configuration of assembly and handling basic command utilities through ERP system (consultants will be reviewing 1 of 9 available readings and disposition and configure as pass or fail accordingly- then package for disbursement). Material Handler-Fulfillment Associate Requirements:• High school diploma or GED.• Knowledge of warehousing procedures is an advantage.• Previous experience as a FulfillmentLogistic Associate.• Understanding of International shipment procedures and logistics• Ability to read and interpret written sale orders.• Strong attention to detail.• Ability to lift heavy objects.• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.• Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.• Strong knowledge of domestic and international logistics requirements is a must.• Experience working with DHL, UPS, and FedEx domestic and internationally. • Ability to problem solve and communicate effectively with others
