Job DetailsJob Title: Patient Support SpecialistLocation: Whippany New Jersey 07981 (Onsite) Duration: (5 + Months Contract to Hire on W2)Shift time: 8am-4:30pm Job Responsibilities:Provide patient healthcare services, facilitating access to prescription teract directly with patients, physicians, and pharmacies to support our client's copay assistance programs.Deliver a high-quality patient experience from start to finish, offering program information, eligibility, and reimbursement support.Respond to inbound and outbound calls from patients, physicians, and pharmacies, addressing their care and reimbursement needs.Collaborate with internal teams such as Program Management and IT to resolve issues.Assist other departments with administrative tasks as needed.Skills Required:Experience in a high-volume contact center environment, preferably in healthcare or case management.Familiarity with pharmacy benefits, healthcare insurance, and medical billing.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.High level of empathy and emotional intelligence, with a focus on patient care.Adaptability to various situations and effective problem-solving skills.Fluency in English; Spanish fluency is a plus.Education Required:High School Diploma or GED.Additional Skills:Experience with financial project management and metrics.Familiarity with claims processing and outbound calls.Ability to answer phones and manage cases effectively.
