Family Law Attorney

The Wilner Group has partnered with a mid-sized law firm with several locations across NJ for a Paralegal to join their Family Law Attorneys. Our client has an outstanding reputation in a very challenging and emotional area of law and is a trusted adviser during a stressful and vulnerable time for their clients. This is an on-site, full-time position at their Northern, NJ location with a $75k compensation based on experience. ****There are multiple open positions at other Northern NJ locations****Responsibilities:Assist attorneys in preparing cases for trial by preparing and organizing exhibits, assisting with client meetings, filing motions with exhibits, organizing discovery, and organizing and coordinating witnesses.Work with attorneys in preparing legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence including interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits.Draft Case Information Statements and prepare child support municate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff courteously and professionally.Manage attorneys' calendars including confirming and coordinating court appearances, meetings, etc.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of family law experience.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Possess outstanding organizational and time management skills.Enjoy interacting with both clients and potential clients as well as all colleagues.Familiarity with CIS software, and Microsoft Office 365Teams, and SharePoint Exp.Being bilingual (Fluent in Spanish) is a plus, but not mandatory.
