To learn more about what it is like to work at Fuse enter here.Role OverviewFuse, a fintech company serving financial institutions with cutting-edge enterprise lending software, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Founding Account Executive. This unique role combines the proactive approach of a Business Development Representative (BDR) with the strategic oversight and expertise of a VP of Sales. As the Founding AE, you will be instrumental in driving our sales efforts, building and refining our sales processes, and contributing to our overall growth strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesSales pipeline development: Proactively generate and manage a sales pipeline,initiating conversations with key leaders in the financial sector.Client engagement: Conduct customer demos, lead detailed technical salesconversations, and manage deals from initiation to close.Sales strategy & execution: Develop and implement scalable and repeatable salesprocesses, continually refining our playbook to maximize win rates.Team building & coaching: Initially focused on direct selling, you will eventually helprecruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing sales team, providing hands-oncoaching and support.Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, andcustomer success teams to align sales strategies with company goals andcustomer needs.Required ExperienceProven track record: 5+ years of experience in sales roles, with a demonstrated ability to drive deals in fast-paced dustry background: experience in SaaS or enterprise software sales to financial institutions with >$100k ACV. Experience in selling to auto lenders and credit unions is highly desirable.Prospect Development: Skilled in nurturing and advancing outbound prospects from initial contact through the sales process, leveraging leads provided by the SDR team.Hands-on Approach: Willingness to roll up your sleeves and handle all aspects of the sales process, from initial contact to closing deals.Leadership & Coaching: Experience in working in high-performing sales teams, with a track record of coaching and developing individual contributors.Customer Focus: High emotional intelligence (EQ) and the ability to build rapport quickly, understanding and addressing the unique needs of each petencies & AttributesStrong Communicator: Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.Metric-driven: Strong understanding of sales metrics and a goal-oriented mindset, using data to drive decisions and improve outcomes.Grit: Resilient and persistent in the face of challenges, maintaining high energy and focus on achieving sales anizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple threads of communication and maintain consistent forward progress across various deals.Curiosity & Intelligence: Eagerness to learn and adapt, with the ability to synthesize complex information and apply it effectively in sales interactions.Collaboration & Adaptability: Team player who is willing to help others and adapt to changing circumstances, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment.If you're a talented salesperson excited about scaling revenue-driving operations at a fintech startup, we'd love to hear from you!
