Lateral Link is assisting a top AmLaw 100 firm in its search for a highly motivated Environmental Associate for the firm's New York (Albany, Rochester, Long Island City, New York City) or Washington, DC offices.This is a unique opportunity to work with a highly knowledgeable group of Environmental legal professionals who help counsel and minimize legal risk to their national clients. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 4 years of recent experience working on environmental law, preferably with a science, engineering or urban planning experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with investigation, remediation, or litigation of contaminated areas under CERCLARCRA litigation process ("Superfund" litigation). Specialized knowledge of environmental risk transfer in addition to energy or regulatory law is helpful, but not required.This is a collegial firm that values attorneys who wish to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated commitment to growing an environmental practice at a national level.
