Job descriptionTitle- Designer- Women's SportswearLocation: New York, NY- HybridSalary $90,000- $110,000Our client, a well-established Women's Sportswear Brand is searching for a Designer for immediate hire. Must have a contemporary aesthetic designing woven, and knitwear. Develop and create a vision for new product line assortments by collaborating with the cross-functional team. Strong CAD a technical experience is a plus. Collaborate with the team with design concepts and building product assortments.Responsibilities:Design and development for knitwear, wovens, and sportswear.Manage placement strategy and follow-up by recommending product placementDevelop design strategies and execution for knits, wovens, denim, and volved in all product development and sales meetings projecting future fabricationsWork with the design team and management to develop time and action calendars for programsPrepare trend boards for management meetingsManage product integrity and order specifications compliance.Approve lab dips, new fabric developments, and the general flow of the processQualifications5 plus years of experience in apparel production and developmentKnowledge and understanding of knit fabrics, wovens, and denim is a plusProficiency in Illustrator and PhotoshopProblem-solving abilities in meeting deadlines.Microsoft Office ProgramsBA Degree
