Litigation Attorney

Our client is seeking an associate with a strong background in casualty claims to for its New York Labor Law Practice. This role offers an opportunity to work on high-stakes cases, collaborate with senior partners, and provide expert legal counsel to a diverse client base.The anticipated base salary range for this role is between $120,000 to $190,000, commensurate with experience and skill set.ResponsibilitiesCommunicate and counsel clients on labor law, risk management, and casualty claims.Manage and litigate a wide variety of New York Labor Law cases, with a focus on Sections 200, 240(1), and 241(6).Handle all aspects of litigation from inception to resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, trials, and appeals.RequirementsA minimum of 2 years of experience practicing NY labor law with a focus on casualty claims, including construction-related accident claims.Strong litigation experience, including trial and appellate experience.Ability to efficiently manage multiple cases at once in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional research, writing, and communication anized, detail-oriented, and self-starter.Must be licensed to practice in New York.Must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.About Zerega ConsultingZerega Consulting is a woman-owned and managed legal recruiting and consulting company.
