Together, Momentive Technologies and our customers are reshaping the world.Senior Facility Design Engineer The Senior Facility Engineer will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and equipment of buildings and facilities. The position will also be responsible for working with ongoing and future expansion projects to set up the new facilities. This position will be responsible for daily activities of assigned projects, including strict adherence to site EHS requirements, completion of assigned tasks, and providing updates on project status to all relevant team members, management, and others.ResponsibilitiesResponsibility for ongoingfuture expansion projects infrastructure and facility layoutResponsibility for overall leadership and ownership for planning and execution of capital investment (and other) projects. Responsibility will extend from own project execution to managing groups of projects in designated plant areas through mentoring, training and guidance to other site project leaders and support members.Proficient in gathering and analyzing data, blueprints, and reports.Responsible for delivery of assigned project objectives for scope, schedule, budget, and cash flow. Ensure daily activities are aligned with overall project priorities and will work rigorously to complete project deliverables.Understand and comply with all site EHS and engineering standards and contribute innovative ideas to improve safety, promote efficiency, reduce cost, and increase performance.Development of facility and infrastructure standards throughout the multiple sites.Engage with operational teams and other internal customers to ensure satisfaction of agreed objectives. Collaborate with all levels of the operational team (floor to management) in order to gather input on project objectives and leverage opportunities based on historical challenges.Responsible for project-related programs to support the investment process across the site and will be expected to support continuous improvement of the overall investment process.Actively participate in the development of their own engineering skills, functional competencies, and personal effectiveness.Develop and maintain key suppliercontractor relationships for consistent and reliable project execution.Basic Qualifications:Experience designing and creating facility layouts.Experience working with contractors.Experience in managing projects and building expansions.Proficient in 2D3D CAD drawing systemsBS degree in engineering with a preference for Industrial or Mechanical Engineering; a minimum of 10 years' experience in a manufacturing work environment (required)Strong leadership and motivation skills within all layers of the businessConfident communications, both written and verbalExcellent proficiency in all Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)Proven organization and teamwork skills within a manufacturing environmentPreferred Qualifications:MS or MBAPE CertificationPrevious experience in large-scale capital project execution (>$1MM)Six Sigma Greenbelt certification (preferred), with solid statistical analysis and problem-solving expertiseSAP experience (or comparable ERP knowledge)3D CAD Drawing Experience (SolidWorks and AutoCAD preferred)Key Relationships:Operations team, Procurement, Continuous Improvement, NPI, Engineering TeamTravel Requirements: 25-30% within OhioOur Senior Facility Engineer will earn a variable compensation including base salary and bonus. Base salary range takes into consideration experience, education, and training.
