The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is a leadership role that manages a team of Sales Representatives. The RSM is responsible for motivating team members to exceed expectations and achieve their sales goals metrics while also growingdeveloping relationships with top accounts in their region.This is a role that is going to be out in the field a large portion of the time working with reps and meeting with customers. This is not a role working in a home office most of the time, although the incumbent's office will be at home.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Leads regional team in growing customer relationships and achieving and exceeding revenue and gross profit goals.Oversees shadowing experiences for sales reps to ensure effective onboarding and skill developmentConduct weekly individual meetings with sales reps for training and coachingDevelop, design and manage a regional business plan for their team.Develops and maintains relationships with top accounts in region with support from sales reps.Develops and maintains positive relationships with key accountsCoaches sales reps to refine selling technical territory management skills and provides clear and consistent feedback.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Communications, or a related field is required.Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in sales leadership or similar roles within the Animal Health, Veterinary or healthcare industry.Demonstrated ability to manage a successful teamStrong coaching mindset and communication skillsAbility to travel in the region and national events meetingsWe need someone with a consultative approach to sales
