Associate, Portfolio Performance Monitoring & Analytics

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Associate to join the Portfolio Services team within the Fixed Income Investment business of a top sovereign wealth fund. You'll be responsible for providing comprehensive portfolio analysis, generating insightful dashboards and reports, assessing portfolio risks, and delivering detailed performance analytics to support investment decision-making.This role is ideal for candidates with 3-6 years of experience in fixed income, investment analysis, or portfolio services, who have strong analytical skills and a passion for financial markets.Key Responsibilities:Portfolio Analysis & Reporting:Conduct detailed analysis on fixed income portfolios, including asset allocation, risk exposure, and performance attribution.Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly portfolio reports, summarizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights.Develop and maintain dashboards to track portfolio performance metrics and provide actionable insights to portfolio managers and senior leadership.Risk Assessment:Perform risk assessments on fixed income portfolios, identifying areas of concern or opportunity across duration, credit risk, and interest rate risk.Work closely with the risk management team to monitor portfolio risk exposures and ensure compliance with internal risk guidelines.Performance Analytics:Provide in-depth portfolio performance analytics, focusing on return drivers, benchmarking, and peer comparisons.Conduct performance attribution analysis to determine the impact of investment decisions on portfolio returns.Data Management & Insights:Collaborate with data teams to access, validate, and interpret market and portfolio data from various systems.Maintain and improve data accuracy and integrity across reports and dashboards.Collaboration & Support:Work closely with portfolio managers, risk teams, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide relevant data and insights.Assist in ad hoc analysis and projects as required to support the fixed income investment team.Qualifications & Skills:3-6 years of experience in fixed income, portfolio services, investment analysis, or a similar role within the financial services industry.Strong proficiency in Excel, including the use of advanced formulas and data analysis tools.Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for creating dashboards and visualizing data.Familiarity with portfolio management systems and risk management tools is a plus (e.g., Bloomberg, Aladdin, FactSet).Strong ability to analyze large data sets and generate actionable insights.Understanding of fixed income products, market trends, and investment strategies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly to stakeholders.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.CFA designation is preferred but not required.
