This role is essential in maintaining strong vendor relationships, ensuring quality standards, and supporting overall operations.Duties and Responsibilities:Partner with outside processing vendors to schedule and monitor the processing of stainless steel and aluminum products, ensuring alignment with company standards and timelines.Track and manage orders sent to outside processing vendors, ensuring timely and accurate completion, and communicate any delays or issues with internal teams.Monitor the quality of processed materials to ensure they meet company specifications, and work with vendors to promptly resolve any quality issues.Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including materials sent to and received from outside processors, and coordinate with internal inventory teams for accurate reporting.Arrange and track the transportation of materials to and from outside processing vendors, ensuring timely delivery and receipt.Maintain detailed documentation of all processing activities, including order details, processing times, quality checks, and vendor communications, and prepare regular reports for management review.Build and maintain strong working relationships with outside processing vendors, negotiate processing terms, and resolve any disputes or issues.Identify opportunities to improve processing efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance vendor performance, and work with internal teams to implement process improvements.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics role, preferably in steel processing or a related industry.Experience working with outside vendors is a plus.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Attention to detail and a focus on quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems is a anizational Relationship:This individual reports to the Director of Fulfillment, Stainless and Aluminum and works closely with a variety of departments throughout the company.Travel & Location Requirements:This position has minimal travel and is based in Cleveland, OHWhat we offer:Team oriented environmentPet friendly officeAwarded "National Best & Brightest Companies To Work For" 10 consecutive years running (2010 - 2020)Awarded "National Best & Brightest Elite Winner"2010 - Elite Winner in Recognition & Retention2016 - Elite Winner in Community Initiatives2017 - Elite Winner in Recruitment, Selection & New Employee Orientation2020 - Elite Winner in Communication & Shared VisionThis employer participates in E-Verify.
