Intellectual Property Litigation Partner - TrademarkCopyright - Chicago or DCOur client is a top Am law firm, seeking a partner-level litigator for its Intellectual Property practice in Chicago or Washington, DC.Qualifications10+ years of IP litigation experience involving trademark, copyright, false advertising, and unfair competition matters in the U.S. District Court and before the TTAB.Experience managing trademark and copyright litigation cases from inception through resolution.Experience representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.Prosecuting and defending oppositions and cancellation before the TTAB.Licensing and other contractual disputes experience is also preferred.Experience handling matters in a wide range of industries, including but not limited to automotive, consumer products, internet technology, and social media.Ability to mentor and supervise junior attorneys.Portable business is preferred but not required; however, an aptitude andor desire to develop business is required.Outstanding interpersonal, analytical, communication, and client-interfacing skills.J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited institution.Bar admission in Illinois, District of Columbia, or Michigan - or ability to become admitted in any one of these jurisdictions.All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
