In this role, you will be at the center of the image sensor development effort, and you will work with cross functional teams in many aspects of your daily activities.Job DescriptionThe Camera Semiconductor Technology team develops image sensors that are one of the most visible features of Client products. You will work on developing hardware to validate image sensors as well as camera modules. This will include schematic capture and board design. You should be familiar with analog and digital circuit design, rigid PCB design, signal integrity and power integrity evaluation, lab validation and equipment.Key Qualifications• 5 or more years of experience with board-level PCB design• Experience with high-speed signaling, low voltage power supply design and low-speed serial control interface• Excellent written and verbal communication and solid teamwork skills• Experience with Cadence ECAD tools and 3D mechanical design is a plusCore ResponsibilitiesAs a Hardware Design & Prototyping Engineer, you will:• Determine requirements and develop schematic designs for sensor and module evaluation.• Perform layout andor supervision of PCB layout design.• Perform bring up and debugging activities.• Review designs and present results to both internal and external engineering teams.• Collaborate across teams to develop next generation imaging products and features.EducationBSMSc in electrical engineering, computer engineering or a similar discipline.As required by California law under the California Equal Pay Act, Cprime provides a reasonable, good-faith range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in California. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
