We are expanding our team and seeking a People Recruiter to play a pivotal role in supporting the People needs of our growing portfolio of renewable energy projects. For more information, visit Position Overview: SunVest's People team is responsible for the People strategy, including compensation and benefits, talent attraction, retention and development. Through this ownership, they set up and continually optimize procedures for proper talent attraction, retention, performance management, leadership development, and career and succession planning. As the People Recruiter based in our Chicago HQ, you will report directly to the Chief People & Legal Officer and work closely with other team members to drive the recruitment process, ensure a seamless candidate experience, and attract high-quality talent. This role is instrumental in sourcing and securing the talent needed to power SunVest's mission in renewable energy generation. Key Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition: Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts for several roles, from identifying hiring needs through to extending job offers. Partner with hiring managers to develop role-specific strategies for attracting top-tier talent. Candidate Sourcing & Outreach: Proactively source and engage potential candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals. Build and maintain a talent pipeline to meet future hiring needs. Interview Process Management: Coordinate and facilitate a seamless interview process, ensuring a positive candidate experience. This includes scheduling interviews, gathering interview feedback, and guiding hiring decisions. Employer Branding: Collaborate with the People team to enhance SunVest's employer brand. Craft compelling job postings, career page content, and social media updates to attract candidates aligned with our values and mission. Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with different teams to understand hiring priorities, ensure alignment with business needs, and provide recruitment insights to leadership. Compliance & Documentation: Create and maintain a dashboard to track recruitment metrics. Enhanced Workplace Environment and Guest Relations: Help maintain a functional and welcoming office environment. Manage office supplies procurement and contribute to a positive experience for guests and visitors. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with a record of strong academic performance. Prior experience in full cycle recruiting is advantageous, but not required. Proven ability to"”or to learn quickly how to"”source, screen, and evaluate top talent across various functions and roles. Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
