Sales Audit Analyst

We are looking for a Freelance Sales Audit Analyst for a luxury fashion company in New York City. This position will run for 6 months with potential to extend and will be based in office 4 days per week, one day remoteSalary Range: $65K-$74K (hourly equivalent, based on level of experience)Responsibilities:Daily cash and credit card reconciliationsAssist with auditsHandle month-end closingsPrepare and book monthly credit card fees and expense accrualsProcess customer refund requests (ACH, check or wire)Monitor and dispute chargeback claimsKnowledge of basic accounting principles and booking journal entriesRequired Qualifications:Experience with SAP is highly preferred as this person will be required to report and identify discrepanciesExperience with daily cashcredit reconciliations, audits, month-end closings, expense accruals, etc.2-3 years of experience in retail reconciliationsAdvanced communication skillsAdvanced Excel skillsSelf-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environmentPrior experience in luxury retailIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
