How can we help? That's our motto. PR Account Executive- Position Overview We are seeking a talented and motivated PR Account Executive to join our team. The PR Account Executive will play a crucial role in developing and executing public relations campaigns, managing media relations, and creating compelling content. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a knack for storytelling, and a passion for building relationships with media and clients and for the luxury industry in general. Please ensure you meet the following qualifications and can commit to the outlined requirements before applying: Experience Requirement: 4-6 years of professional PR experience is required (no internship-only experience or recent graduates).Journalist Relationships: You must have active relationships with journalists and provide 3-4 media references to demonstrate your ability to secure editorial placements.Portfolio: A portfolio of press hits is required, showing your success in securing media coverage for luxury or lifestyle brands.Writing Test: Be prepared to complete a writing exercise to assess your creativity, strategy, and communication skills.Luxury PR Experience (Preferred): Experience in luxury industries (fashion, watches, beauty, etc.) is a plus and will be prioritized.Primary Responsibilities: Cultivate and Nurture Relationships: Proactively build and sustain strong relationships with media professionals and key influencers to support client activities and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). Collaborate on Strategic PR Approach: Work closely with the Account Director and Clients to gain a deep understanding of client objectives, ensuring alignment on a strategic PR approach designed to meet and exceed KPIs. Client Communication and Management: Participate in client calls, meetings and assist in communication and account management. Coordinate PR Events and Activities: Plan and execute PR events, including executive interviews, personality engagements, and major product launches. Manage Influencer Campaigns: Oversee influencer campaigns and related events, such as press previews, openings, and promotional activities, ensuring they align with client objectives and enhance brand visibility. Craft Compelling News Stories: Develop engaging news angles, story ideas, and media pitches that elevate the client's profile and highlight their products effectively. Secure Media Coverage: Conduct extensive pitching to editors and journalists to secure targeted media coverage and maximize exposure for the client. Stay Ahead of PR Trends: Keep the agency informed about current PR trends, tools, and industry developments. Analyze industry coverage to identify potential opportunities for the client. Press Kit Development: Lead in the creation and refinement of press kits, including writing press releases, newsletters, and other promotional materials as needed. Maintain Comprehensive Media Databases: Work with the team on the organization, updating, and expansion of databases for media contacts, influencers, stylists, and vendors. Implement Strategic PR Campaigns: Develop and execute PR plans and campaigns that align with client goals, ensuring all activities are strategically targeted to meet client objectives. Monitor Media Coverage and Performance: Track media coverage and evaluate performance against specific KPIs. Provide detailed reports on coverage results weekly and monthly, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness. Analyze PR Campaign Effectiveness: Measure and assess the impact of PR campaigns, providing insightful analysis and reporting on the results to gauge overall effectiveness. Lead Social Media Content Planning: Oversee content planning for Gigantem's social media accounts, developing engaging content strategies aimed at growing our audience and enhancing online presence. Coordinate Inventory and Sample Loans: Manage inventory sample loans both locally and nationally, maintaining meticulous records and conducting regular inventory checks. Apply Analytical and Creative Thinking: Utilize strong analytical skills and creative thinking to engage audiences both online and offline, presenting complex stories in a clear and compelling manner. Supervise Junior Staff: Oversee the work of junior staff members, ensuring their contributions to client activities are accurate and align with overall deliverables. Demonstrate Industry Commitment: Show dedication to the industry, agency, and clients by mastering industry knowledge, staying updated on trends, and understanding clients' businesses. Attend Industry Events: Represent the client at key media-facing industry events, promoting their brand and efforts to enhance visibility and reputation. Watch industry knowledgeexperience a plus. Agency experience vs. in-house a plus. Ability and willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to build and maintain media relationships and secure media placements in print, web, social media, broadcast, YouTube and more. A strong rolodex of media contacts (regional & national print, broadcast and online journalists and social media influencers and more) Familiarity with performance metrics and a proven track record of performance in PR. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in social media platforms Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Strong referrals.
